Just plug in the transmitter somewhere not noticeable in your home, garage, or tool shed. The transmitter will then let go of a radio signal which will recognize the fencing boundary for your pet. Your pet wears a lightweight receiver collar which pays attention to the signal. While the collar is receiving the signal, your dog is free to move around and play in your yard. When your pet arrives at the boundary of the signal area your pet will be given a caution beep. If your dog does not go away from the boundary an adjustment is given. With a minor and simple training, your dog will quickly learn his boundaries. Creating your Instant Fencing will just take a few minutes and is very simple. The transmitter plugs into any normal 110 volt outlet. Since the signal will emit reliably through walls and other obstacles, it can be placed in any appropriate and discreet location, just like in the garage, tool shed, or a closet. Once you have set up the Instant Fencing, you can now standardize the range that is suitable for your dog and your yard.

Once you have adjusted the signal to the boundary you desire, mark the boundary by placing in the training flags at the border of the signal. Each Instant Fencing comes with the transmitter, one receiver, 50 boundary flags for training your dog as well as a manual that give details for installation and training. We offer single dog units and two or three dog units that you will surely like. Supplementary lightweight receiver collars are available for over 3 dog systems and as replacement collars, should you lose one. Spare transmitters are obtainable to increase your fencing area, as are power inverters that allow you to plug the system into a car, truck or SUV power output.

If you have a big or stubborn dog, this system is not likely to work for your pet. At the same time, Pet Safe strongly suggest against leaving the collar on your dog while it is within as household appliances may turn it off. With that, we advise a buried wire system. This system provides the biggest wireless fencing area available in the market, PLUS you can add on! The signal field can be modified from a 15-90’ radius from the transmitter (30 to 180 foot diameter). The shape of the signal is in an ultimate circle and the shape cannot be distorted. The range of the Instant Fencing can be increased by using two or more transmitters. This creates frequent intersecting circles; two transmitters would make a boundary in a shape comparable to the MasterCard™ logo. The signal is cancelled where the circles interconnect, letting the pet access to the whole area. The transmitters can be located at an utmost 150 feet apart and each transmitter must be out of the weather; they cannot get soaked. An added transmitter would create a boundary that is up to 180 feet wide and up to 230 feet long. The PIF-300 works unsurpassed in yards which are relatively flat. The system will not fit if a drift off or steep slope is a part of the limited area. Please give attentive consideration to whether the Instant Fencing is appropriate for your backyard before placing an order.
